In The Beginning...

I created this blog. Why? Well, because I have a friend who is doing one about her sweet Lily, and it seems like such a fun, friendly way to keep in touch (thanks, TJ!). So, I thought I'd try it too. Why not? Hey, maybe I'll even keep up with it. Maybe people will be logging in every week to read and see what we're up to in this little town. Who knows... The real question is - what am I going to write about - family life in small town America? OK - but that's not really too exciting or unusual. Hey, what about 'Curing autism'? That's exciting AND unusual! Some people even think that it can't happen. But it can, and I know it can because I've seen it happen, once. Curing autism (or "autism recovery" as the politically correct people call it) is an extremely s - l - o - w process. It takes years and years of hard work on the parts of many people - just to recover one little boy from autism. Still, undoubtedly some of my posts will be about that - particularly since a lot of my life is about that. Maybe just overall keeping in touch, writing it down, keeping a record of sorts. At this point I'm not sure what it will evolve into - but I'm ready and willing to give it a go.
